CONCIPIA-VirusGUARD

The CONCIPIA-VirusGUARD offers comprehensive real-time network protection against a large number of dynamic threats, including viruses, spyware, worms, trojans and software weaknesses, such as buffer overflows, as well as backdoor exploits and other malicious codes.

With an additional security layer, this efficient solution provides protection against external and internal attacks at user level. Thanks to the effective antivirus and antispy solution, the IT infrastructure is protected against infiltration by malicious code at various levels. The security module of the CONCIPIA-VirusGUARD consists of a scanning system on the direct interfaces of the firewall.

The CONCIPIA-VirusGUARD monitors numerous email, web, file transfer and streaming protocols as well as Instant Messaging (IM) and peer-to-peer applications, thus closing any possible security gaps.

The integrated application firewall offers a series of configurable tools that allow for targeted monitoring of applications and prevention of transfer of confidential information. Furthermore, two powerful security modules are integrated. This is an Intrusion Detection System (IDS), on the one hand, and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), on the other hand. Here, active malicious code and risks like infiltration via backdoor programmes by hackers are prevented.
